The Bragg's was the only thing I found locally.

I have a duckling with a shakey leg problem so went on a mission to also find the B Complex liquid as others on this site advised me, which I manage to find one day while in another town (looked for it at like 4 or 5 stores).

My black Swedish had shaky legs when he was small but I really think what it came down to is that they didn't have enough space so they weren't moving around while they're young he's much bigger now and he free-range is all over my backyard and is much better. And they were getting a pretty decent amount of Brews yeast so I doubt it was niacin deficiency I think just some birds are bigger than others and grow faster.

I was also under the impression that nutritional yeast and brewer's yeast act completely different things.

As you know, I use the injectable at tractor supply. But I give it orally instead. I also buy the sublingual from Walmart because I like the dropper bottle. I originally bought the brewers yeast when I first got ducks because I had read about it a lot on here. But it’s terrible as far as content goes. I bought it from Walmart also.

I like the liquid because I know how much they are getting and it doesn’t get wasted.

Can you also post pictures of your products?
Yes! Sorry I had to get home and take a pic of the yeast, which is from walmart. I do not like the pill form because I have to crush it up and sometimes it's that one extra step that is the difference between them getting it in the morning or not. Next week I will probably buy powder. The b complex is from stop & shop and I liked it pretty well. Will be getting some more as it seems Jemima still needs the added vitamins.

How much do you give? The liquid is still synthetic. I got like 20 ducks so i find it easier to get food that doesnt need additional supplements.

I too noticed there wasn't much niacin in nutrional yeast either. I went to a health food store to check it out the other day. I was confused as to why it is touted so much - it would really only help if it was supplemental to the feed if the feed has niacin in the ingredients.
I think if a duckling needs extra niacin due to deficeincies - the liquid b complex is probably the best to use.

Have you looked into how each product is made or are you thinking because it’s a concentrate, it’s synthetic?:D

What kind of ducks do you have? I only give it to my ducklings. Or adults who are stressed. Once the ducklings are full grown, they don’t have as much need to build bones, muscles, and neurons, so it’s not as critical they get supplements. Now I just give it to my adults every now and again. They have been eating a lot of worms right now, so I haven’t given them any for awhile.

There's actually a picture of the label I'm not sure if you can see it. So I'm basing it on the label which is giving me synthetic products ;)

If you will do the math on these two products your duck would have to eat ~80 crushed tablets to equal 1 dropper full of the liquid. (Check my math skills). And I bet price wise each container is around the same cost.

I would throw the tablets in the trash as I too hate crushing all those up.

I give 100 mgs per bird/day to the ducklings who are weak or have had seizures. The other ducklings I give maybe 100 mgs a week. But if there are several weak ducklings mixed in with ones who are fine, I normally mix 100 mgs per bird/day because it’s easier.

Sorry Casportpony, I’ll be quiet and not take over.;)
