Hubby is half Scottish, and he baaaaaaas and I respond LOL!

Speaking of childhood, as a newborn, the name "Robin Bird" or "Robin Egg" UGH! was the common nickname for me growing up. My Aunts and Grandma on my Mother's side always call me that. My Dad's side always call me Robin. The reason the name stuck was I was only 1 lb, 9 oz at birth, 6 months in gestation...scared the heck out of my parents that I wanted to come into the world, in a snow storm in March. Dad remembers fondly that he could take me in his hand in the bassinette and I would fit in his hand. Mom was afraid to hold me, such a fragile baby, pretty hairy LOL! I stayed in the hospital for I think two months before they let me go to my parents. Mom said I was a very good baby. At night, I screamed my lungs out with any kind of light, even a lamp light. Finally my Dad turned off the lights in the room and shut the door.......bingo, I shut up and went to sleep LOL! To this day, I HATE lights at night, it has to be pitch BLACK!

When I was a child I was called "Nub". When I was in my early twenties & rarely leaving bars to go home, I got the nickname Rooster because I told a girl to be moved out of my house by the time I got home from work. She did. I went to the bar that evening & a friend was arguing with her deadbeat boyfriend. I told her to move in with me. She did.... & the girl that was staying with her, thus.........
