At room temperature you feed it a cup of flour and a cup of water to a cup of starter. Leaves you about a cup and a little bit for ‘waste’ to cook with. Starter that old has been fed continually without it failing. If it’s refrigerated, you bring to room temp and feed for a couple days before putting it back.How does starter work/stay alive that long? Those cinnamon rolls sound delicious. Yessssss!!! Or regular cream cheese.Cream cheese frosting is AMAZING. Also super great on pumpkin cake/bars.
