Night Eyes, do they work?

Or most don't wish to do. I'm more of a circle of life kinda guy. Granted, they're not running loose in the yard and are secure in a run, but it's hardly Fort Knox.

But yes.. They're much smarter than that.

Want to truly predator proof? Get yourself a small charging unit for $15 and install a two to three line electric fence around the bottom of the run/coop. Will be far more effective.

I think it's mostly for animals like raccoons, skunks, weasels, etc. though. Dad asked me about them today and I got curious so I came back to this thread. But I think our ducks would likely be scared of it if they're out at night (they have a TALL enclosed pen. It's supposed to be electric around the bottom... but we're still working on that.

So far so good! Although we had to take down our plastic crows (that were keeping hawks away) becuase the ducks were afraid of them.
