Nite Guard Solar-Powered Night Predator Protector

Have you tried ebay?

I wanted the UKs "dispatcher" and it is not sold in the US at all. I just went on ebay UK and found a seller willing to ship to the US. It was a little more expensive, but I thought it was worth it. We don't have any humane processing equipment. People just snap the neck or slit the throat.

Anyways, you might also be able to find a used set from someone selling older ones... just a thought.

I found some Halloween decorations for cheep. They have red flashing eyes. Some have motion sensor lights and voice as well. Others just flash all night long.

All I need now is to find a solar panel and batteries to hook up to the gismo so that I don't have to replace the batteries all the time.

I'm on my 3rd year with one & they REALLY work!

I first purchased 3 several years ago and they worked except that then, I lived in the city and there were lots of lights & the opossums were not deterred by them; in the city, they are used to lots of blinking lights. I gave those 3 Nite Gurad lites to a friend because he was having trouble with coyotes (in the country). He reported he had not seen a coyote since putting the Nite Guard lites out.

I purchased 4 new ones when I moved to the country and installed them in strategic directions about the perimeter of the chicken area. I walked around the property at night and took in consideration the grade of the land and the directions predators would be coming from. I moved them a couple of times after walking around at night & observing from where and how they could be seen/observed. So far, no predators, except a lone opossum, but I also have a good dog too. There are coyotes and fox all around me. Deer are moving and people are feeding them around me, but they also will not come on my property. I was told before I moved here to expect deer right up in the yard. Whether it is the Nite Guard lights or the dog OR the combination of them both, I can't say, but nothing comes in (my dog killed the opossum that came in the yard so I guess my lights are warning of a real threat).

When I purchased the first three lites, they were about $8 cheaper a piece.

The Halloween decorations with the blinking lights worked last night. I'm so happy. It makes going to Big Evil Box Shop to get them worth while. I need to get some more for the front of the property before the holiday is over.

It may not be solar powered, but it is more affordable for me than shipping Nite Guard or Nite Eyes to Canada.

I live in the blue ridge mountains with lots of predators. Bears, Fisher cats, bobcats, coyotes, raccoons, hawks, eagles, owls and more. I have my guinea fowl and chickens in a coop surrounded by a secure run that's inside a giant fenced yard. So far we've never had any problems with predators bothering the flock and bears walk by on a daily basis. I have the blinking double eye version of this product and bought it on Amazon.com. it gets great reviews.

I have four Nite-Guard Solar lights around my coops and live in the Maine woods with multiple aerial and ground predators. Planning to add 4 more at top-of-window height for the owls I hear every night. I've not had any issues with predators so far and in the snow, I find the fox tracks coming from the woods but avoiding the coops.
