No Air Cells?

I was given some eggs to hatch and now on day 15 and I noticed that there is no freaking air cells. I can see the chicks moving inside the shells while candling but I was very distressed to see no air cells in any of them. Anyone else seen this?

How high has the humidity been in the bator?
Maybe the air cells are full of water?

Did you tilt the aircell end toward the light? Sometimes it looks like there are no aircells unless you tilt that end to the light.

Sounds like they are not drying down much. The air cell should be a quater to a third of the egg. It may be too late, but I would remove all water and try to dry them out as much as possible. Don't put any water in the bator till they are ready to hatch.

I have not used any water. The humidity is at 43% the highest I've seen it go is 50% and the lowest 40%. They are in the basement where the humidity is always around 40-51% depending on conditions.

Seems about the same setting as last time (which came out great). I'm just puzzled.
