We normally have tons of apples, but not this year. Not even one! I've heard this can be a precursor of a really bad winter to come.
Do any of you have bare fruit trees? Oh...and we didn't have any pears in the pear tree either.

No apples - that's a terrible thing!
Here in Vermont we are having a great year for apples. Even the old, unkempt crab apple tree on my neighbor's lawn is covered with gnarled little fruits - I've never seen it have any in other years!

No fruit on any of my trees, nor most of my neighbors on the Front Range in Colorado. Combination of a long spring, and heavy winds that blew the few blossoms off the trees before they could set. Lots of peaches on the Western Slope, but no apples, plum, pears, peaches or apricots on my side of the Rockies.

Most of the fruit trees in MI are loaded with fruit, its one of the best year for it.

No peaches here, or blackberries. My friend did have apples, but they were small. Our "Spring weather" consisted of two weeks of rain followed by over two months of over 100 degree weather.

We have no apples on our trees and no peaches on the trees out in the orchard. One lonely little peach on the tree in our yard and a squirrel got to it before I could. Very few blackberries, mulberries and wild strawberries. We're in a bad drought. The pecan and hickory nut trees are loaded though. The fig trees looked like they were going to produce well, but when I later went to look for figs, couldn't find any.

The very next day I discovered my younger flock of chickens can fly up into trees really well.
