No Day 21 Action- Please help!

Not yet. She's been working on the same small crack for the entire day, and she got it bigger, but not by much. She hasn't made a dent for hours.
To be clear, though, she's trying, and chirping.
 
If you do or try a assist you could always make a new thread with a big help on it if you need help. I am not the most experienced at assist. I have done assist with mixed results and tend to be more hands off.
 
leaving it till the last minute?
I wouldn't - the only thing that will happen is you will then most likely have to assist and assisting imo lowers the chances of a chicks survival

I would wait to assist until at least 12 hours since the first external pip...
....longer if first external pip was not thru the air cell.
 
She hatched in the night! Dove is so, so, so, so cute! Pictures coming soon!
Also, she has family in the coop! Her sister (Dawnwing) her mother (Piper or Squid) and aunt (Piper or Squid) and her father (Max or Marshy, but probably Max)!

Meet Dove!
 
Yes. I went to one today to get her food and bedding, and it had chicks, but I didn't think they were young enough. There's another nearby that will have more options. Although if I need to, the other store has a few pretty small chicks.
Also, she's really active. Should I worry about crooked toes?
