No Day 21 Action- Please help!

Yes. I went to one today to get her food and bedding, and it had chicks, but I didn't think they were young enough. There's another nearby that will have more options. Although if I need to, the other store has a few pretty small chicks.
Also, she's really active. Should I worry about crooked toes?
I'd say it depends on how bad they are crooked. I had one last year that was pretty bad but he got better without needing any help from me.

She is so cute!! :love

Thank you so much!
I'll keep an eye on her toes, but I don't think that anything is wrong, and if it is, it's very slight.
Will two chicks be enough or would three be better? Two is the number I want, we have a lot of birds already. And by a lot, I mean 15, besides Dove.

You can candle in the air pocket see if you see the beak or movement. Hold it to your ear and listen. Otherwise patience. Could be late. Not unusual.
I also didn't hear them... It's day 21 last night when I candle them they were moving. But no movement from outside no chirp no pip!!

Yes, in case one dies.

I hope you have space for them all....
...and remember integration works best with 'extra' space.
Best not to get or hatch more birds unless you already have enough space....
...and have a plan to deal with extra males.

Our coop is ENORMOUS. I'd say it has enough space, because after this I won't be hatching/adopting for birds for several months. I'm going to be concentrating on socializing the ones I have. And our plan for extra males is this: if they're males, give them away to somewhere where I can still with them. Although, if they're mellow roosters/a rooster like the one we used to have, Chunky Fred (my brother named him) then I could probably work something else out.
I may get three or two. I think two, because I don't want to wind up with three and neither does my dad, but I could replace one if they die. I really hope nobody dies.

Be patient depending on temp of the incubation they could be a little late. I have had chicks hatch from 18 days to 24 days.

Good luck on your hatch!
And I finally got two chicks to keep Dove company: tiny Sandstorm and unnamed! :)) Any name ideas for a black chick with little talons?)
