No eggs and one looks lazy

One of you mentioned coccidosis. That's mainly for young chickens right? And I would see bloody poop. The only weird poop I've seen is the frothy orange one.

I just got done treating some year old peafowl that had coccidiosis. FWIW, a vet once told me that frothy/foamy poop = protozoa, and that's what coccidia is.

Here is an example of a coccidia cecal poop (look, no blood).

ah ok. Well my TSC only had corid 20% in a massive amount. Is there another recommended cocci treatment? I can check another place near work. I've read Corid 9.5% is the preferred medicine

Massive amount? Didn't know they made anything larger than this:

Dose is 1.5 teaspoons per gallon for 5 days, then 1/3 teaspoon per gallon for 7-14 days.

is it ok to add to water that has other stuff like ACV and electrolytes? Also, they won't finish all that water in that time. I put 5 gallons of water out in the nipple bucket and they're drinking for it for like a month, even more sometimes

I don't like adding more than one medication to their water, so I would use just the Corid. Corid must be made fresh daily, and it needs to be their only source of water, so I suggest that you make only as much as they will drink in 24 hours.

ok I'll get some of that today. I haven't noticed any frothy poop lately, but she's still looking lazy. I'm dropping some poop off at the vet today after work for a float test too. Surprisingly only 1 out of the 6 vets nearby can do it. How hard is it to test poop? They do it on dogs and cats all the time.

The frothy poop is cecal poop, and they only do those 2-3 times a day, so that might be why you haven't seen any. Will you be able to take fresh poop from the "lazy" one? Fresh is best.

I have no idea. I end at 5 and they close at 6, so when I get home I'll just have to look around for a few minutes and watch them. I rarely see her eat so I also rarely see her eat. Maybe I can hand feed her something that will get things moving. Any food known to do that? I can give them watermelon?

Take her with you to the vet and I bet she poops while in the car! Will she eat watermelon?

Well I told them I'd bring in a fecal sample, don't know if they officially treat chickens lol. They usually love watermelon. She's been kind of picky as of late. I'll see what I can do. Either way, I'm doing the corid. No harm anyways
