Same here except the 2 broodies. Which are doing my work cuz they did their part 1st. Just the suspence kills me not knowing when to watch for new mama and keets or what max I can exspect. Other 4 are daily in the seeded nest and that has me grinning ear to ear.

Our well hidden nest has had a lady sitting on it at night. But last night, after I locked up the coop I crept up and peeked at the nest to find THREE girls snuggled together on the nest, all three completely hidden under the low-lying pine tree branch.

It was cold and rainy last night so I am glad they are working together. All three were fine in the morning.

I get quite nervous every night about the girls outside the coop. But our broody guinea hen in the coop should hatch some keats any day now and we have a chicken and a duck with guinea eggs under them. Even if we lost a hen or two outside the coop, we will not run short of guineas this summer.

How many eggs are they covering? I still haven't been able to see how many mine have under them (Or the 1 and MIA hen) but I have 80 in the bator. Hoping for a 50/50 hatch at least from bator. Dunno though cuz 1st 50 were surprise eggs. No idea what they went thru before I found them.

I have over a hundred in one nest with the hens I think they are taking turns because they are not in the same spot in the nest when I look they are not covering the samed eggs all the time so not sure waht will hatch. This is their fisrt years so will have to wait and see some should be hatching the 1st of June one hen has been on those eggs the most sowho knows what will happen Peanut

Thats why I been snatching eggs. I will let them set before too long but with what I can sell keets for I want to keep the laying up awhile and then let them hatch them. I would go from 2 1/2 dz a week to 0 really fast if they all plopped down to sit. And then not know when to look for more. I know I sound greedy but with losing an income that went 100% to bills we can use the income. No matter how small of a sale can be. Hoping I can sell in groups of 5+ as younger keets. Adults as trios if I can. No other breeders in the area that can raise them w/o losing 75% of birds. So these will be my little babies I oogle over daily. A little more so than I do for my chickens and ducks.

I am glad you hens are laying so good hope you have good luck . where are at or I should say what state? Peanut
If you were asking me peanut I am in MO same as you.

I just got a peek into the guinea nest. Was a surprise. Throw some corn, grab the phone, snap a pic, retreat before Mama comes back. I'd roughly estimate 40 eggs in her nest. And NO WATER. I was worried cuz last night we got downpour bad.
Still have not even an esttimate on the hatch date. I will see them when I see them I guess.
