No emails for subscribed threads or PMs?

Well I changed my email to my business email. I hope that works. LOL I'll let you know.



It Worked !!!!!!!!

I changed my email address from Yahoo to Windows live mail and I'm getting my updates. It only took a few minutes to start getting them.

We definitely don't want to request that peeps go through the trouble of setting up new email accounts, but we've definitely seen that some email providers are more friendly with receiving our emails than others. For example: AOL is notoriously unfriendly and Gmail tends to be really friendly.

I didn't have to set it up as I have 4 accounts to pick from. Wildblue came with my internet satalite. Windows live came with my phone. Gmail to contact my daughter and Yahoo I have had for 12grs. This is the second time I've had trouble with Yahoo. I'm just glad it's fixed.

I'd change my email to receive updates, but the reason I have it on the email I do is so that I'll get the updates faster then rechecking the threads on the site by hand... and now I see people getting double updates- I'll take some of those of their hands!!!

I also quit getting emails a week or so back.I have checked my settings,spam folder,everything I can think of????I use gmail,I wish I could figure this out.Really miss getting up to date emails.By the time I have to time to visit the site is uaually late at night like now....

sinkorswim, I don't see you subscribed to anything that has received a post or comment in over a month. Which topics are you subscribed to that you think you should be getting email notifications on?

I switched my email temporarily to my work one, and I'll be switching it back momentarily to see if it will fix the issue- not an ideal solution, but I'll take it if it works.

Though, it sounds like gmail is the major offender here, even though I can find no setting that blocks the incoming emails, and was receiving them before... Maybe they need to be contacted and asked?
