No Feathers

I have three sex link reds in varying stages of undress. Last summer we had a rooster who was pretty rough on the girls. We rehomed him, but their feathers have not grown back! Is there anything I can do to help them refeather?

They are feather pecking/plucking. If there is one bird in perfect feather, she is the culprit. Do an on site search on Pin Less Peepers. They can be used and sometimes successfully break this bad habit.

The feathers often won't grow back in until they molt and can be heavily impacted by nutrition.

But that angry red skin indicates something more along the lines of lice or mites. It should just be light pink.

In the US a permethrin based product like "horse fly spray" is often very effective.
