Had a hot tub on a 12 ft high deck once..lots of other decking too...sold that house before all rotted.

So sorry you hurt yourself so badly! Keep that leg elevated and do what they tell you to do. Merry Christmas! One you won't soon forget!

You'll be home before you know it. Hosptials love to kick you out as soon as they can but take it easy when you get home. I worked orthopaedic trauma for 20 years and I can't help myself from wanting to know more details. Is the break at the ankle or tib-fib?

Both leg bones, tibia and fibula are broken at the ankle and the ankle bone itself is broken too. The doc told me that I have a plate with eight screws at my tibia a screw in the fibula and a nail in the ankle bone.

Might put in a call to your feed store and your vet clinic. Often they employ folks that love animals and know how to work around them. It's worth thinking about.
