Silkie-Cochin Rooster for Sale or Trade in Geneva, OH (about an hour Northeast of Cleveland)
3/4 Silkie 1/4 Bantam Cochin Rooster for sale or Trade, age approximately 4 months old, just started crowing. $10 local pick-up only (will not ship), may be willing to meet somewhere partway for an extra fee.
He's very pretty, but the only reason I bought Silkies is for their tendency to go broody, so I don't need any Silkie roosters. And I already have four bantam roosters whose only real purpose is eye candy/yard art, so I can't justify keeping yet one more extra male, especially one that I'd have to keep in a pen or run because of his cute lil head poof. If I don't have a new home lined up for him by this Sunday, he'll be butchered. (He doesn't have to be gone by Sunday necessarily, just spoken for.)
I would also be willing to trade for something. I'm in interested in anything you can think that someone setting up a farm might need: Poultry (chickens, hens, roosters, ducks, geese, turkeys, quail, chicks, ducklings, goslings, hatching eggs, etc.), meat rabbits, seasoned firewood, garden produce, fruit trees, aged manure, animal feeders/waterers, animal cages/kennels, fencing, coops, pallets to build livestock shelters, straw, hay, raw goat or cow milk, raw honey, etc - try me! You never know what I might say yes to!
I'll also be posting this on the Ohio thread and on Craigslist.
