no more email subscription updates

Actually your email address as well as a handful of others in this thread were all unsubscribed from emails. Not sure how or why, but it could be because of bounced emails at some point or because of accidentally hitting the "unsubscribe" link in an email.
 
I just got a bunch of emails from BYC!

Now I don't feel lost.
 
Nifty, I don't know if I am doing this correctly...
BUT, was having trouble at another site and found this "whitelist" thingy worked for me with them.
SO.... I tried it with the BYC address, and they said it didn't exist....

Everyone on the same computer mentality as me, check out this whitelist thingy.

Thanks for the note. I don't know anything about that service and would caution members to submitting their email address to it. In the quick look I did, it seems that service may only apply to SBI users.
 
Rob, is there another whitelist service for the commoners that you could recommend for us to try to get updates?
 
Unfortunately I don't believe a service exists that is across all providers. The thing I often suggest is that people add the BYC support email address to their address books and try to ask their ISP or email provider to make sure that BYC is whitelisted.

We have found some success with members who have completely stopped getting emails and then re-subscribing them on the backend of the system, so if there are still peeps not getting emails from BYC, do the following:

  1. Triple check your spam filters
  2. Triple check your subscription settings here on BYC
  3. Add [email protected] to your email system's address book, whitelist, safe-sender list, etc.
  4. Reply to this post with a note that you've 100% done steps 1-3 above and let us know the day and time of your last email, and type (pm notification, thread subscription, etc.) from BYC.

We'll try to re-subscribe you to the system and hope that works.
 
Nifty - I haven't received any eMail updates in 3 weeks or more. I'm quite certain I didn't accidentally hit the Unsubscribe in an eMail. I just checked all of the settings you suggested and everything I can see is 100%. Please help!
