No more turning!!

Today is Day 18 for my first batch of chicks as well. I am hoping some of them hatch. I am new at this and I think the humidity may have been too high the first few days but I am praying. I had to throw out some of the eggs before they exploded. I have 3 batches total and I know the last batch should be okay and I am hoping I had things changed so the 2nd batch will too. Gosh, this inexperience is killing me. I hope you have a great hatch.

thanks diane...I wish you a great hatch as well. I just keep peeeeeking in the little window...straining my ears to hear ANYTHING!! Nothing so far.

I just know they will hatch when I am sleeping, and I will miss the whole darned hatch!

Ohhh, you are sooo right!! I keep getting up to look...thinking I hear something...but its the darned frogs outside!!

Between not sleeping....not eating...and running to the bator every 2 minutes....I am going to be very tired and weak very soon! Coffee....I NEED COFFEE!!!

......I was sitting here, reading other topics....when...I hear something!!

Did that sound come from the bator?? I rush over...look in the "peep hole" ( thats what I call the stupid LITTLE window" )and nothing....ugh...must have been the darned heating element kicking in

..so I come back to the computer...reading...????? what was that? a peep??? I jump up....peeeeeping in.....nothing...darned peeper frogs!!

Back to the computer, reading more posts...ok, thats was DEFINATELY a sound from the bator....running over there, tripping over the dog! UGH, doesnt she know by now NOT to come between me and that silly bator?? :| peeping in...nothing..Ohhh, the DRAMA!! and only at the end of day 19!

This is going to be a long few days...I can tell.

Im saying a special prayer to mother nature for you and the chicks asI know what you are going through, Have you got damp weather outside, whats the humidity in your town? check your weather report, it will affect your bator, but im sure you know that anyway.!!
I cant wait till they start moving for you, hurry up girls!!And please be nice to your doggy!!!lol

OK, its the morning of day 20....

I just looked in on them and nothing...no pips...no peeps...nothing!

Now its raining outside...and I am sure the humidity is WAY up there...in the bator...only about 65% Is that bad? Now I have to worry about the outside humidity as well???

I dont think I will make it through this!!

At least with the rain..the frogs are quirt!

The dog has learned....move over!

End of day 20 report.....nothing to report. All is QUIET on the bator front. UGH!

Dont these babies know how much I want to see them? and Love them!??

Ohhh, come on little ones! ok, back to the bator!
