The bill would allow the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as copyright holders, to seek court orders against websites accused of enabling or facilitating copyright infringement. Depending on who requests the court orders, the actions could include barring online advertising networks and payment facilitators such as PayPal from doing business with the allegedly infringing website, barring search engines from linking to such sites, and requiring Internet service providers to block access to such sites. The bill would make unauthorized streaming of copyrighted content a felony. The bill also gives immunity to Internet services that voluntarily take action against websites dedicated to infringement, while making liable for damages any copyright holder who knowingly misrepresents that a website is dedicated to infringement.[4]

I KNOW WHAT WE SHOULD DO!!!
So, if you watch WHAS news, they do this thing called The Rant. And we should send this forum into them! Then our president would see that we CARE about the Internet and veto the law!
Just a theory, though

Are you even sure you understand this bill?

We don't have a SAY in this. We, the people, should have something to say in this.

Call your Senator and your Representative. The bill hasn't passed either house of Congress yet.

as everyone can see there are FREE SPEECH concerns and that it targets more than infringing website which means ALL websites are in danger

You're all completely missing the point. The bill is horrible, obviously - and if it passes, I foresee a LOT of Congressmen getting voted out. OH, wait, that assumes that most Americans aren't too apathetic to vote other than their party. Oops. And here I was being optimistic for a second.

But here's the real issue. Show me where in the Constitution this is permitted. In what article, section, and clause is Congress permitted to do this? NOWHERE. It is unconstitutional, illegal, and WRONG.

@Clay Mudd - you really think that will make any difference? Your letter will not make a difference, because more than likely, your Representative does not give a rat's hindquarters about you. Almost all of them are lying, stealing slimeballs who refuse to obey the rule of law, ignore all restraints, and don't care about their constituents.
