No! not again! I could swear I just saw the Splash Orpington, five days old, do the same exact thing that my black Ameraucana baby did. He flapped his stubby little wings, stretched out his neck, and did the 'buh-REEET" trilling sound.

No, he cannot be crowing! What are the odds I'll have a third splash that's a boy and he also crows at five days old? I must be hallucinating. I sat there and sat there and the baby didn't do it again, but I think I'm in for some brooder watching for the next couple of days.
 
maybe you have been watching them to close and lack of sleep made you think he was crowing LOL

Not again! I think you need some rest. You couldn't have seen her crow! Although, haven't I read post where hens that are laying crow? Could still be a pullet!
