Hi we have two original khaki cambells coco and daisy.we incubated for the first time and sadly only one made it out of the batch uno, who is now eight weeks old and is in a second coop next to mom and dad first about 3 or four weeks now. And when we try to introduce them out in the open yard (with a pond) both of them try to attack her. Were almost positive it's a girl.
then theres batch number two. We had to do a rescue on this on sadly we weren't able to save two. One was backwards in the egg and the other had poked his yolk and drowned but we were able to save 6 of them that are know happy and healthy, but whenever we walk by the coop with the ducklings our Male coco puts his head down and paces back and forth next to the wire and then there's the female. Which we have never had a problem with and is very sweet. But when the duckling are nearby her head gets fluffed up and she starts shaking. We have never seen this behavior in them except for our first batch uno. The six new ducklings are about a week and a half. Please help us. We want to eventually move all these duck into the same coop.
And the original ducks coco and daisy will be a year old August 12th.
