No one wants to hear it! (pics and videos)

Is that a speckled Sussex in the middle? How old is she? Mine I think is about 5 months (rescued)

Wow love the rescue part. Yes Hedy is now 28 weeks. Pic last when weather nice. Not been lately. Why the rescue at such a young age? Lucky! I love her as she is so friendly always curious and regular songster. Pic please of your SS do not see her. :)

I love this! Im glad im not the only one with this problem. I literally only have one person i know that raises chickens and im sure she is tired of me lol I have 4 pullets and 4 cockerals and soon to add a couple more ( 6 is only a couple more in chicken math right?) Im constantly checking on them and i find my self just hanging out with em and chatting. Just super beautifull and full of personality!

I hope your more is hens with that many Roos. Roos banned here.

I had my phone out on vibrate around the chickensand I got some calls and didn't hear it but the chickens did, they didn't like it so when I retrieved it, it was the new enemy in their eyes and they ran away scared when I walked in the run with it lol

So I sat down with treats and calmness showing them my "dangerous" phone with the camera on so they could get to know it better lol

Here is some of what I captured

I found the quickest way (on accident) was having my noodly white headset in when I lowered my phone (big standard comes with the iphone headset to give you the visual) to take a picture.
EVERYONE was interested in the possibility that the dangly bit might be a food!
I was shaking so much from stifling my laughter that most of them came out blurry. These are great, though.

Well she was a rescue bc a neighbor dropped her off to me bc she didn't take care of them correctly so her others were dead and Picasso was the last one with a broken leg and a impacted crop.

She was so sweet I am guessing she was 4 weeks old when I took her in here she is at first

Then once she was healed she moved in with the ees and is a part of them now my ees are so sweet

She’s pretty what a nice thing to do! Congrats!

Trying to make a long story short...
2 flocks: buff orps, ee's. Integration was good until young ee roo decided he wanted dominance over orp Roo who got slightly injured bc of it and was terrified to leave the coop.

So I separated them again putting the small orp flock (7 total) on the small side.

16 by 20 ft run but my nervous roo got more nervous and jumpy I thought he would get over it
I observed them how they seemed bored and didn't roam around I decided their space was too small for them so I expanded it another 16 ft out recently

Boy I was right they were soo excited and have been much more happy since and Roo is no longer jumpy and afraid, seems they have more complicated feelings and thoughts than I even realized :)
Here is some pics of them...
