No power for 24 hours

Yep, we're in lockdown. Day 26 today, so we should know something soon. I've had good movement throughout. Might have a couple sticky babies, but I am still hopeful!
 
Looks like I might have quite a few 28 day quackers mixed in with my 35 day muscovies, lol. oops! Take lots of pictures!

Oh boy that sounds like fun! Haha

And I most definitely will take lots of pics... They will probably get sick of my camera in their faces!
 
Power loss is my biggest concern as well, but I tried the Brinsea's method of cooling the eggs every day after day 7 and too my surprise I ended up with a 78% hatch rate on shipped eggs. I can't say for sure that it increased my chances of better hatch rates but the little suckers are still kickin. I cooled my eggs to 86 (checked with the thermal thermometer.

I've read about that process, but haven't tried it. Glad it worked for you, I might just have to try it! Its just that it seems so logically against everything else! But when you think of it like momma leaving the nest, I guess it does make some sense.
