No power for 24 hours

I believe it! My incubator malfunctioned on day 14 of my Pekin incubation (2 eggs). It was off for about 12 hours - thankfully my experimental homemade incubator was on and warm. "Number One" hatched on day 27 and "Baby" hatched on day 28. Hardy little guys! Baby did have a difficult hatch that required intervention, but they are a little over a week old today!
NICE, are you going to just tease us or do we get to see PICS??? WOOO HOO

They were a couple days old at the time of the pics. They are growing soooo fast!

This all happened to me on day 14 too! Glad your guys made it too!

But I don't believe you without pics

I was so upset! I had babied those eggs for two weeks! Then after they had been in the new bator overnight, I candled and I saw movement
in both eggs. I was so excited! Then, I get on here (duh - should have done that in the first place) and read so many stories of incubator malfunction/power outages that it made me feel MUCH better and I stopped stressing...too much. lol I love my babies!

Hope you enjoy the pics!

I just had to add this pic because I thought it was so cute.
My turkey and 2 Comet girls are in the house on the top, and the ducks are on the bottom. My pug Dudley loves watching them. He couldn't see in on the chicks, so I pulled a chair up and he will sit there for hours, watching in the window. He really wants some chicken!
