No smoking In Or Out

Lets go after the people putting up signs on every street corner. I don't need to buy a house for 0 down, or 100 signs for $99, or snow plowing for $30. And what about the tag sale people. They should be taxed on that stuff.

In most instances, I'm really glad I learned things the way I did. Those street smarts in South Africa came in very handy, got me out of many dangerous situations ALIVE. The fact that I had been there done that kept my wits sharp, my eyes open and panic down to a minimum when it counted!

Street signs are so ugly - thats my only gripe with those, makes the neighborhood look shabby and untidy!

I'm guessing that in a few years the obese and overweight people will be the evil ones in society, as the smokers are right now, once there have been enough smokers quitting, they'll have to raise the taxes on something else.

I just hope that all the smokers who quit can keep a handle on weight gain

I'm still struggling with it, and winter makes it worse so lets hope no more pounds for me this year, I've taken my share

I think that it is already happening. My neighbor's son is overweight. Now I think that is wrong and the boy, for his health, needs to loose weight. But what surprises me is that there are people who will approach a 11 year old boy to tell him that he needs to loose weight. We are talking about adults. When has expressing your disapproval at someone else's stupidity become acceptable.

For the record, I have no idea why the child is overweight. He plays outside with my daughters and they eat similar food. My girls are underweight and he is overweight.

His entire family is overweight and I don't ever see them overeating.

and people telling him that only hurts his self esteem and will make losing weight even harder.

Come on kid, let's go for a hike and chew in celery...

Coop, dont go were not portraying you as evil, most smokers portray them selves as victims because they are not allowed to do everything they want regardless of who they may be hurting. I have no problem with you(smokers in general) smoking, but dont do it where me/my kids are subject to that smoke. If smokers can not understand that if they are smoking in a enclosed space be it a bar/plane/house that they ARE impacting those around them then they are in complete denial, and need to pull of the blinders.

I am all for having designated smoking areas.. Away from the general public .. Most places around here now have a designated smoking area outside in an alley. I feel this is a much better idea then entirlely banning smoking.. I just find it unfair to try to force people to stop.. It is my choice yes i know its bad for me . yes I know I stink form it , yes I know it will probably kill me .. I dont smoke around my children I try to minimize the residual smoke on myself .. It just feels like an attcak anytime smoking gets brought up .. IMO
