No Tongue????

I don’t suppose that you could take her to a vet to look down her throat in case her tongue is stuck. @Wyorp Rock , didn’t you help someone like this earlier in a thread a few month‘s ago?

I would think that she would continue to lose weight if her tongue is partially missing. Can she eat a mash of wet chicken feed?

I would try wet mash as suggested.

I do believe there was someone who had a hen that looked like the tongue was missing, but it was sort or "buried" beneath swelling/canker - once treatment started and canker lesions were slowly removed the tongue was found.

The only other one I "think" I remember that seemed to have a missing tongue, a string was wrapped around it and had pulled it way back.
