No yolk?

one chicken (a mix breed) keeps laying very small eggs for her size and they never have any yolk, any ideas why this may be?

It's called a fart egg. How old is she?

shes atleast 3, shes never laid a normal egg - how can i get her to do this? or will she always lay these eggs?

She may be having reproductive issues. Have you had her 3 years or was she sold to you as an older hen?

we have hatched her from a mix breed egg that we bought from a nearby farm, the others are all fine it just seems to be her with the issues. she has never laid a normal egg in her life. but each day lays a micro egg with no yolk. shes a lovely chicken and we keep them as pets so shes in no danger for not laying correctly im just wondering whats going on with her

One of my BOs just layed one of those fart eggs. If we could develop the breed to lay only non yolk eggs they would be a hot item for those people that only want to eat egg whites.
