No, not all the time... seems like it, though. We're not above the arctic circle, so actual daylight is from about 9:30am - 4pm right now. It's snowing, and we have about a foot on the ground. +24°F... it actually warmed up quite a bit!

Shelley, those look like silvers, from what I can see. Not sure about the others yet. Wait a week until they start getting their wing feathers.
I'll have to see if I can get my hubby to hold some of the Buttons for me to take photos. I can't ever get them to hold still for me.

Well, I have 2 that are deffinitely silvers. The other yellow one is hard to tell, but I think it is a silver too. I have one that looks like a cinnamon, but it is red with darker red stripes?? I also have one that is just about black with red stripes and a yellow face? And then there is the other one (

) I can't even describe it! It is dark, looks black, with yellow patches on it! No stripes that I can tell except on it's face, but very blotchy!! I will have to take pics tomorrow!

So far this is all I have. I went ahead and put them in the brooder, and checked the other egg that had been pipped for a while. It is still alive!!

It still has bloody veins, so I wrapped it up and it is still hanging in there in it's egg. I hope I have more in the morning!!

Plus I have 10 more eggs from Cindy that are due on December 12, hope I get a 'normal' out of those!

The count is officially up to 10 so far, with at least one more zipped!!

There are, from the first 6, 2 definite silvers, one cinnamon, one that looks like a normal, one that looks like a red-breasted, and one that I'm not too sure about, but it looks like a silver also. The 4 that hatched overnight look to be all silver! There is another one that is zipping, so it won't be long and I'll have another one

What am I gonna do with 11 more buttons??

Ok, I was wrong about the zipper, just one egg that had hatched and closed back up, but I still have 10, with at least one more pip!!

Ok, now there is another zipper!

This brings my count to 11!!
It looks like 5 silver, 3 cinnamon, one 'normal' and one 'darth vader'. I don't know about the zipper yet!

I just checked again after feeding my outside birds, and I have 13 babies!!

3 more hatched while I was outside!!
