None of my chickens are laying eggs- 7 months old

They are so very pretty! Hope we both have fresh eggs soon!
I was given 5 Blue Wynadotte Pullets last month, they were about 28wks now 32wks & still not laying :(

The lady I got them from had them on Layer since they were 18wks, I prefer MultiPurpose or Flock until they lay but she said "they'll be laying soon" and gave me the bag. I do FF so it lasts "forever". Their combs/wattles have been red this past week but I'm thinking maybe the end of the month. No squatting yet but they're now showing interest in the nest box.

When they start laying and/or she finds a Blue Cock, 3 will go back to her. There are no Blues here in the Islands of Hawaii and they are pretty. This is a pic of them when I first got them....

How long has it been since their combs turned red? I've found mine start laying between a week and a month after it reddens up. Are they squatting?
Excellent advice on seeing if they could be laying elsewhere.
I've had welsummers but none of the other breeds you mentioned and the welsummers were the oldest I ever had start laying. They were over eight months old, close to nine, and they didn't start until we were past the winter solstice and the days started getting longer.
I have some that just passed the six month mark and I'm still waiting for eggs from them.

I would say between 3-5 weeks. Non are squatting or showing interest in the nesting box.

I don't know where you live but unless your near the equator this time of year it's likely your pullets wont come into lay until longer daylight hours in spring unless you supplement lighting. Birds must start laying long prior to the solstice up north or they wont lay naturally over winter. There simply isn't enough natural daylight hours to stimulate laying. If already laying then they will lay through the dark months just not as frequently. You must add lighting to start them laying or wait till spring.

It doesn't take much light to get them going. Put a light, can even be low watt led or two, on a timer to kick on and off in morning hours or evening hours to add light on birds to total 12 or more hours a day. Commercial operations use 14 hours total light. I just make sure it's 12 or more. Currently have a timer set to turn on before they roost and off at 8 pm. Sunrise here currently is after 6:30 am. By solstice that will be after 7 am and totalling over 12, under 13 hours total light a day.

I"m in northern California and we are getting 10 hrs of sunlight (7am-5pm). I will try putting a light in the coop to add a few extra hours of light. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have they started laying yet? Mine are 29 weeks and just one started this week. Maybe the moon hasn't been in the right place. :p
