Hello all, new to owning chickens here. Lol actually don’t even have any at the moment.
my girl and I finally decided to get some so I started looking up coops and was unimpressed with what you got for the price, so I found one online that I liked the looks of and decided to just build it.
It’s a 10x6 foot with a 4x6 foot coop. What's the maximum number of chickens for this size?
Also does anyone happen to know what a coop like this would cost new already built? GF keeps saying I could have just bought one for the time and money I’ve put into this one. So far I’m $520 down on this build and have everything to finish it up.whish is on the lower end for materials because I already had the metal roof panels and a 100’ roll of 1/4” wire mesh, which is why it has extra horizontal 2x4’s opposed to the what it’ll look like when completed picture.
