My neighbor's little girl was given a baby rooster her parents would not let her keep. She gave him to me. I bought one of those cute little coops and fell in love with Fred. They just brought me two baby chicks who are supposedly Bantums. They are getting too big for the tote they came here in. How long do they need the heat light? When can I introduce them to the out doors? One is just a cute little reddish color and the other is a frizzle, I am at a complete loss as to what to do next.
