Hello! I have 6, 3 week old baby chicks. A mix of white leghorns, Amberlinks and California Whites.

When I walk up to the brooding box and look in a few of them look at me and try to fly up towards me.
Is this normal curious behavior of the chicks or signs of early aggression?

I handled all of them on a daily basis as well as feed them by hand when I’m interacting with them.
They also are VERY active in the brooder as I type this message lol

My brooder is in my bedroom and I have a chick at 3 weeks that cries so loud whenever I’m not in the room. She will go on for hours until I come back.

Means they're interested in you and interacting with you.

I personally don't encourage chicks to land on me so I'll push them off, but mine see us as big mobile play things that dispense food, so they'll make an attempt every once in a while.
