Just my suggestion-

Get to the feed store-and ask them what meds they have for cocci....they will know what to give you---

Since you had one already to die I think it is important to go ahead and treat the ones you have---they told me 10 days treating-7 days off....then another round given to make sure no other pops up-

I also used cider vinegar in their H20 and-fed yogurt to help their intestines balance out during their breakout last summer.

Good luck-in getting them better!

Ps--mine never looked lethargic -or showed any other signs besides bloody poo.

If you only think they have something... get it tested. A fecal float can test for worms and cocci. On a small bird, a lice infestation can make them weak. A weak bird can't digest food well, thrive well, or be chickeny. Lice bad enough can kill younger birds.

I wouldn't worry too much as more worry = you stress and bird possibly being stressed over your being stressed and constantly being over it. Just sounds like your little guy there needs to get on a good eating schedual and have that bug problem taken care of.
