SAHM in Wake Forest, desperately trying to convince my 37 neighbors that it's OK for us to have backyard chickens! In our town we have to have the permission from each neighbor within 500 feet of our property... crazy!

I just wanted to say hi

I now live in Washington but grew up Just West of Wilmington in Brunswick county, in the town of Leland. I was there last summer visiting family and friends during a very hot heat wave. A couple of things I miss is the smell and taste of the Honeysuckle and the fireflies everywhere at night. I hadn't been back in 15 years and could not belive how bad the traffic in Wimington had gotten. But if I had to pick somewhere else to live it would be N.C.

I am originally from the coast...The Outer Banks. Or Kitty Hawk to be precise. But now I am inland in Liberty, which is 20-30 minutes south of Greensboro on 421. I do miss the ocean sometimes

, but I love where I live out in the middle of nowhere!!!!
