Hey everyone!

Hope all is well. If anyone is looking for some chicks or juvi's of misc bantams please look this way!!

Have a couple of cochin boys looking for a home before entering freezer camp as well as some bantam orps and a couple of LF marans boys. Also have 4 beautiful Easter Egger chicks looking for home, there were hatched Christmas day. We are hatching weekly now so have changing stock available for awhile.

Try not to laugh, but what is Suet?? ......It is the fat that surrounds the organs such as the kidneys and intestines not the fat from under the skin ... very high quailty.... try to find that in a store. I made mincemeat pies a few years ago for Christmas and searched and searched for some, settled on just regular beef fat and they turned out just fine. Too bad I was the only person to actually eat them. Silly people didn't know what they were missing....

Locked down my New Year's hatch last night and have fingers crossed.

I'm thinking about my 2012 gardens. I think I'm going to plant some sunflowers for my hens. Can I just plant any kind or are some varieties better than others?
