North Carolina

Hi Im Marc, Im in Mooresville, NC (about 20 miles north of Charlotte). Im new to keeping chickens and have 16 Wyandotte chicks in the Brooder. They are 10 days old. Im only looking to keep 6-8 as i live in a neighborhood (i ordered 15 because the lower shipping cost for larger orders made 15 about the same price as 6) so if you are local and interested, ill have 8-10 available. I have no clue how to determine the sex (im really green at this) but ordered all females.

Maybe you could take your extra chicks to the chicken stock that HT is holding
to get them new homes.......... just a thought

HT & ML - I am located right outside of Raleigh (Wendell), where are you guys?

So are you saying you have some available now or sometime before CS? and of course I can only have pullets since my 2 roos would not let another roo on the land here. but I would love to have 2or 3 ? what do you say? I am not sure of driving 2or more hrs though to pick them up.

I have 70 eggs in the incubator, mostly bantams, and I'd still love to have some of HT's lavender bantam orpingtons. Chicken math adds up quickly.

OH! And I was just out watering the horses, and found where one of my Guinea Hens is sitting on a nest! Don't know if I'll be able to resist checking that location if I see her leave
