RF, Thanks! I took the time to water the pots on the front porch and whip up some sweet tea. The battery still isn't charged and I was hoping to get the frame done before the rain. Everything is cut, I just need to assemble.

I'm actually really proud that I'm even trying! I feel like SUPER WOMAN or something using power tools. Hahaha

Well we had our first bear visitor of the year last night, it tore right through the fence bending metal stakes down to the ground. Completely broke into a 6" PVC pipe that had a bird house on it with I might add just hatched out baby birds. Then proceeded to tear down the bird feeder and carry it off i found it up on the hill torn up[metal] did not do any damage to anything else and the coops are right there too. I stood the bird house back up with the baby birds still alive but barely, I sure hope the mommie bird comes back. So this after noon we'll be fixing the fence and replacing posts. I had just filled the feeder with sunflower seeds so it got a tasty snack.
Oh my!!

Remind me to NEVER complain about a snake/coyote/hawk/opossum/raccoon when you are dealing with BEARS!! I am SO thankful we do not live in the mountains with them. Glad to hear that while you did suffer some damage you didn't lose any of your birds!!

I too hope your mommy bird comes back!!

I was treated to a HUGE bonus today... both DD's went down for a nap at the same time and I actually was able to follow them!! My first hour of uninterrupted sleep in a month...boy did it ever feel good!! I feel for anyone who suffers from sleep issues, as I am at least in this stage for only a season...once I can figure out how to "reprogram" DD#2 to sleep at night rather than during the day. LOL, she's only been around a month (tomorrow) so I suppose I will have to give her a little more time. Until then...please pardon any/all spelling errors, grammar errors and any incomprehensible babbling I may do!! LOL

Ok, I got the frame finished! WHOOHOOO! Pictures to come. :D

I have to find the wire cutters to start attaching the mesh but that I did to all the coop runs, so I know I got that down when I find the cutters. I have the staple gun ready though!

It's not perfect, but its pretty good and sturdy. Had some split wood and issues with stripping screws, but no one is perfect.

Going to have lunch, then I'll try to add a photo and get to finishing. However, I do need hubby to cut the door for me. I can't use the skill saw very well, only the chop saw.

Ruth, I am soooooooooooooooo glad you got some well deserved sleep. I don't know HOW you juggle all that you do!!!???
