Oo man wish you weren't so far away. My light brahma roo disappeared a couple weeks.

Hey! A non-crowing rooster could live in the city and no one would ever know!

I've got baby turkeys jumping out of their box in the living room. I reeeaallllyy need to get these guys moved outside! My Boys are confused by them and want them back where they belong. The puppy will bark to tell me they're out. He's got a big bark, and it terrifies the poults. And hopefully all the potential burglers.

Got my second wind. All the groceries put away, and I'm looking at getting other errands done. (note...still not doing "inside stuff" with the exception of putting the food away!

Ok I put eggs into lockdown last night around 11pm, they are due june 2nd. Temp is 99.8 and humidity is 75%, but there are water drops on the view window?! Is this ok? Both plugs are in because if I take them out temp drops! Am I doing this right?

ok got some pics of the rest of Toms babies before everyone needed life vest and canoes


two brown white and black "girls" one gray white and black "girl" the RP is their mom, even though none of them know it. The gray is the biggest and close to moms weight. For size Peepers is a LF and the grass is half way up his sides and touches the babies bellies in the second picture. Peepers had to have his picture done too. When I brought mom over to the babies, Peepers ran and called to the babies and they went to him

even though they step on him and he "tries" to peck them back at feeding time

Good Evening Everyone!!

I have chicks HATCHING!! So far we have SEEN 3 chicks, one male blue sex link (whom we call Roaster Du as we think our older chick is a rooster too and is set for freezer camp), one BLRW (I think it's the other one visible) and a mystery chick who was hiding under mama and we couldn't get close. Mama was growling up a storm and tried to peck DH just for changing food & water!!

Talk about a moody gal!! Hehe. No idea what is hiding under the cochin as I could not get past the Maran!! LOL. For your cuteness pleasure:



3 out of 18 so far on day 20 isn't too bad, right?!?

Oh yeah...I'm super excited!!

the dominique is great her official name is daisy! She is a sweety.. if you have to downsize I can take one or two hens if need be! Hopefully you dont have to!

pseudo wife picked up some fly bags from the farm supply today.. Already got some flys and my shippment of fly predators shipped today!! good day and my new power supply for my laptop showed up today! the dogs thought is was a chew toy! All chickens seem healthy today no losses!! and the new ones are all getting along great even roosting together.

Is there a flock swap this weekend in fayetteville? I was thinking i would bring my older kids to one this weekend
Or I could just got to beths !

pseudo wife picked up some fly bags from the farm supply today.. I do believe there is a swap in Sanford this Sat. Check CL. I have not been to Sanford swap yet but I have heard it is pretty good.
