I've got dibs on the maid fairy next! If she sweeps well, she can make a new dog out of the dust doggies. (No dust bunnies here!) And she can chase down all the feathers from those finches. Eight molting finches for two weeks. I'll be finding feathers for months.

Got a late start this morning, but all the birds and sheep are taken care of, I've cooked breakfast for my Boys, (and hubby opted for an apple instead of a cooked breakfast

) As soon as he heads out to work, I need to clean out my car, load up some cages, take a shower, and head out. It's going to be a fun day. I get to see Beth's place!!!

More potty training and a fussy baby from shots so not much going on today but cuddling and more cuddling!!

I am kind of disappointed..I have a broody barred rock and a black star that have both been sitting on eggs. I have no doubts that they are fertile and they seem to be doing a good job with them, but 21 days would have been this past Sunday for the BR and today for the black star and no sign of chicks...I have successfully hatch eggs from these hens before with an incubator, but never with broodies..

Do I just need to be more patient? I have not been able to get close enough to do any candling or anything...

(Just as insurance I have 15 chicks coming from Meyer next week since they had free shipping LOL)
