Well I have successfully determined the genders of my two guineas. The small one is male and the larger one is female. When the male gets scared, he climbs on top of the female and just sits there for a while til she stands up and makes him get off. Poor girl looks confused the whole time lol

Lovely! The colors have come in nicely!
they are still getting more color to them still

The silver is too funny... when he gets spooked... he jumps like 2 foot straight into the air...

But he is also the friendliest pheasant we have... he will come and eat out of my hand... none of the others will do that.

Good Morning, Everyone!

We had hoped to get testing done on our remaining birds this coming week, but our inspector is going in for surgery on Wednesday, and since I'm back to work I can only do the testing on Wednesdays and Fridays. So, I'll be having a new inspector, and he's booked this coming week. Testing will be done the following week. Another week to wait and wonder and cross my toes that I can save some of my birds. Ugh. High stress. The first inspector said that many people take months in this process, but I can't see why they would drag it out if they didn't have to. Anticipation can be such a horrible thing!

Yesterday wiped me out, as I hadn't spent so much time on feet for a while. Jake and I both need to build up stamina for this again. Plus, I started off the morning by falling, shortly after I got to my office. It took me a while to pull myself to the chair and stool that I keep in there, but I managed to use them to get on my feet and didn't have to call security for help! I could not have done that six months ago...the meds really are working!

Hope everyone has a great day!
