Hey guys! Taking a break from packing. How did we accumulate so much junk? Oh that's right! Hubs is a pack rat and refuses to throw anything away but somehow managed to throw away my new better homes and garden magazine yesterday! Seriously y'all this is ridiculous! And more rain! Yippee. So excited. Sick rooster passed away late last night. at least he's not suffering anymore and never was around my healthy chickens. Have a good day to all of u.

Wow wingate is literally right down 74 from me. and the silkies are not show quality, guess I should have read the fine print on Muray McMurray :/ but they are still beautiful. Too many males though, ment to only get 3 or 4 of Blue and Buff Males but ended up with like 6 or 7 Males in each. Total Bummer, may just sale all silkies and go for Barred rocks or New Hampshires . not too sure yet! Thank you for the welcome moomoodiddy !!

We have eggs! Yahoooooooo! I have been thinking we should be getting close, but from what I read, it varies. We found 2 little perfect white eggs today IN THE NEST BOX! I am not sure who it was, but I have a guess it is our sweet girl with the beautiful red comb...the others are a little behind on the comb/waddles.

Ugh rough day here today, repeated pop up storms managed to re-flood my main coop. I'm beginning to fear I may have to abandon this coop. not sure what else to do, before I do anything drastic(tear it down) I'm gonna try laying down gravel, then sand and laying plywood boards over it all. I was gonna cement it, but landlord said no.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Congrats on the eggs 2sesslers! I finally got my first green egg the other day and I was crazy happy!

Got a lot done on new coop today! Got Poop board in place and installed the new automatic pop door. Little ones got their first day out in the run and big ones got to free range for 5 hours today! Everyone was happy!

I am exhausted and ready for bed! Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Anybody know what household stuff can be used to start a fire? We r burning old personal paperwork and nothing seems to be working. An no gas station I open to get and starter fluid

Sorry I know that was so random but I'm super frustrated and I know u guys know all kinds of things and not even a whole bottle of nail polish remover is doing the job. Urg! I really don't wana move. i am so OCD and I think it's all the clutter that's driving me nuts! And I still gotta build that coop and get all the boxes out and the furniture. And my hubs just doesn't get that the clutter and all the memories and I'm having to leave the home where we became a family and its so sad. And on top of all that one of my little chicks white rocks is sick and idk what's wrong with her. she's all puffed up and a big chicken pecked at her while they were in the yard through the pen and ever since she's all puffed out and walks dizzy. this hurts my feelings so bad because the eggs she hatched from were a project at a school in a kindergarten class and nobody thought shed make it out of the egg because the membrane had dried out so bad so I brought her and her brother home and chipped the shells and softened the membrane and literally hatched them myself because they weren't trying enough to do it alone! And she's going on 8 weeks now am it really hurts my feelings because idk what's wrong with her. Any advice at all???
