Babies first night in the coop. Five weeks flew by. Glad to have my bathtub back, but it's too quiet in here now. At least they wont wake me up at the crack of dawn. Assuming I sleep that is.

Another lovely Wednesday has arrived
This evening after work we need to sort through
the young birds(teens) to see who is headed
to the pot and who is not. I'll take me to the swap
next weekend and see if new homes are in their
future.

Temp is the same, mostly. Time and humidity is different, and time varies by species of duck.

Do you have any neighbors that could help you out? That's what I do. Actually this past time we went away for 15 days over the summer and had the 10 year old boy next door who loves our animals come do it. I was really nervous, but he did an awesome job. And we paid him $75 insbtead of the $150-$200 it would cost to hire an animal sitter to come. All thbe ones I found were $10-$15 everyday to come by once, more if you wanted them to come twice!
