Good to see y'all too! Your kids are a trip! Got home and put the cage down before opening pen gate...didn't see the door pop open....yeah...about 30 mimutes of chasing two hens around....the golden stayed and even layed an egg in the carrier. The other two are run tired.

Unloaded the trees and grape vines...wet the pallet of sod down and came in the house. Tired from landscaping in this heat. Now to decide which two or threr to pit with the frizzled rooster....

Welcome back! I posted 3 posts up abour needing ro rehome my roos quickly...maybe you may have the perfect home for them? Theyare crosses, great for a cross flock but unless your looking for a real breed I dont really have that...

I don't know how I spent an entire morning parked next to you and yet barely
got a chance to chit-chat. Hope you catch those 2 hens and they don't exercise

We've got the most wonderful weather here with a high of 79 :)

you can bet I'll be outside doing various projects!

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the old skill of caponizing roosters?
It is something I would like to learn, ideally from someone who is experienced in it.
I have been reading up but there is nothing quite like having a teacher. :)
