This is from my back door just a couple minutes ago. It's still coming down thick and hard.

Bantambury....I teach biology at UNC Pembroke campus.
so cool!

I got my Sebright from TSC last year... She's a hoot! She'll talk your ear off in half a second... Won't let you pick her up or pet her, but loves a good chat!

that great to hear! ive considered TSC chicks, but didn't know if I should go for it or not...

Quote: My son and I will probably be the only ones at the Smithfield show with lakenvelders unfortunately. I love the breed as does my son and we would love to talk to you about them. They are great for free range or a pen. But to be honest, some of the roosters can be man fighters, but not all of them are. The breed needs all the help it can get and my son and I would love another lakenvelder breeder/lover, but this is something that we have to deal with in some of our males. I have found that a lot of what you read from hatchery sites and the such on breeds of chickens tend to be wrong, at least a little bit. Most of the Mediterranean breeds also have aggressive males. Hope to see you at the show.

Just spent the last hour taking pictures of chickens

Hey, I had to take a vacation day anyway, so may as well do something I enjoy, right? These are a few...my birds are mostly mutts (Brahma crosses) but they are beautiful to me so that's all that matters, right?
