Is any one looking for a young (just under a yr) non sq tri colored silkie roo? He's a gray splash, heavy on gray, with some red in wings, tail, around neck has a little as dose the saddle. He's got 5 toes on both feet but one foot has a small 5th toe and not spaced well. His comb and wattles are red. Can get pic if interested.
Congrats on the pips!! I am glad even though I am one of the closer ones to you, that I didn't find out about the Bon-Bons until today!! I'd buy WAY too many, especially since I am allergic to dairy!!
I think it's wonderful they're raising money to go to summer camp!!
Here's hoping everyone who wants to go will be able to !!
No new news on the coop. Just found out my DH invited people over for lunch on Saturday and promised them my "famous" ribs. Spent the day scouring grocery stores for quality ribs. Have them prepping right now!! Nothing like a 3 day cooking adventure...anyone want to come over and clean for me??
I'd feed you MY portion of ribs...especially since I don't eat pork/beef!!
Well...I HAD to try. I am still anxiously awaiting materials!!
Ruthann - you better hurry up and get working on your coop because I could potentially have COCHINS to share!!! I have 2 different groups of eggs on their way - 1 being a variety of all different colors of beautiful, big fluffy Cochins!!!!!!!!
The other order is also a mix of BLRWs, Coronation Light Sussex Splits, Black/Lavender Orp Splits, and Black Copper Marans!!! Just a couple of each and who knows how many will hatch, but I am SOOOO excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope I'm not totally crazy for getting these eggs on my very first attempt, but I can only have so few chickens here (didn't seem like so few until I found this site!!!) so I wanted them to all be exciting! Though I still want Ameraucanas and maybe even a Silkie or two - how can you resist those little furballs!!! We'll see - down the road maybe. I think that 2 dozen is more than enough for my first try!!! Now... I better get moving on that coop!!!!!
