these are just for my show birds... have a 12x20 coop i can use for everything else... my father in law lost all his chickens to coons so all i have to do his make it coon proof and i can use it..

I have only seen hatching eggs on auction, I will keep my eyes & ear open. Where are you located?


Well I did have to cull my little BLRW.

I hate that part of raising chicks.

On a lighter note, I overspent on auctions this weekend

I am getting LF Blue/Splash Cochin, bantam Cochin ( white, black molted & a project color cinniman red), Seramas & BW Ameraucanas. Plus I have pre-ordered to ship next week, BLRW, Olive eggers & Call ducks. These are for the Easter Hatch.

Now I hope my new incubator arrives tomorrow or soon. I think it shipped Fri. from GA. I think it should get here pretty quick.

I have a guy from Michigan planning to come to Pickens, SC to pick up some orpington chicks and my 2 roos.

He is interested in finding some breeders or SQ in a lot of different breeds while he is down here. He called off a long list of what he is looking for.
I did not get everything written down but here are a few of them.

(Excuse the spelling) Minorica, Std. Cochin, Red Shoulder __?__, Samutra, Barred Rock, Black Astrolop, Blue and White Langshorn ? or Andulusion (can't read my writing)

Sounds like he is interested in anything LF and good quality.

Morn- Looks like some folks had eventful weekend. Hope vfem feels better today.
I had eventful weekend myself friday evening late ran into power line for the silkies
coop jerked it off its blocks, dark when i got that fixed- Then sat evening late
plowed up TV cable, temperarly got that going after dark. I'm not getting on the
tractor today

On a better note family has increased picked up trio of EE -may have trio of Black
cochins this sat

Sorry to hear about your chick bhep. And sorry about your fight with the tiller vfem. I am in the Fayetteville area. If you ever find any sumatras.

I aint found any but the two hens, and had been looking for years since I found out that mine was a sumatra and not a sexlink. I got 5 black chicks from a lady who said they were sexlinks. Well four was, he wasn't. The state fair sometimes has a few and even less of them are for sale, but last year there was a hen, but she looked like she might have been sick so I didn't buy her.
