My goodness allabout poor babies, thank goodness they have you to nurse them back to health. We found bear prints close to us also, so far hasn't come into the fence area. Berries haven't come in yet and they are hungry.

I am glad that they haven't caused any issues. I am just trying to keep them as comfy as possible. We went and got Duramycin-10 How much should I put in per gallon of water? Also how long should I keep them on it?

Thanks

I usually put two or three tablespoons per gallon, you really aren't going to 'over do it' so to speak. Then just fill her water dish from the mixed up gallon of water each time.

Thank You!
I ended up doing two tablespoons in a gallon of water. I also got triple antibiotic which I put on Jane's (pullet) cut. Also can I put it on the hens wound? I wasn't sure just because it was so deep. Well I may be freaking out a little as well

Her wound go's past the skin but I guess it isn't that bad. Jane is doing better she is hoping around much more, and is trying to put a little weight on her other foot! She is also drinking on her own again

Good morning everyone. I am HAPPY to report that the cakes have been finished much to my relief!! For your viewing pleasure (please know, I am NOT a professional...be kind...hehe) Also: the cakes were designed by the graduate, she showed us a photo and we strove to recreate it!! I will note that the small chocolate piece in the bottom right hand corner of cake #2 is a relief carving done by my WONDERFUL DH (he also did all the writing for me - he has the steadier hand).

Black Widow Update: Much to my extreme happiness....I think the lady has moved to another home away from people trying to poke her. We have not seen her in the past few days and I am hopeful that means either the girls ate her or else she has moved on. No Charlotte's web for us!! Have a great day everyone!! After the graduation party, the DH and I are going to work on getting our orchard ready to have some trees delivered in the coming fall!!
