Thanks for posting the pic, greeneacre!!! He is so pretty! I hope he's still as sweet as he used to be! Man, he really looks a lot more like a he than my other ?he? that still isn't crowing. Maaaaybe there's hope. I'm glad you finally got some new batteries! I need to get out there and get some recent pics as well!

Vfem, I love my family practice, Shah and Catchings, and I know they're taking new patients as some friends just went to meet the nurse practitioner a couple weeks ago. Me and the kids usually see her and my husband sees the main doc, Dr. Shah, who is very nice. My mother and grandfather go there as well! It would be a little of a haul for you to head into Cary but they're really great. One big perk is that they are very email friendly and Mrs. Catchings has emailed me back as late as 11 at night! Email appointment reminders are always handy also (I go every couple of weeks it seems with the 2 little ones). And Mrs. Catchings does a little feature on I think it's WRAL every Wednesday answering health questions. They're behind Waverly Place diagonally across from Wake Med of Cary and the number is 468-6820 if you're interested. I hope you get all sorted out ASAP!!!!!!!!

SCM! I may take it into consideration, my mother is pushing me to see Dr. Outlaw who is also in Cary. I was trying to keep from drive more then I need. My daughter's dr is in Raleigh near the fair grounds so we got to do a lot of driving since I refuse to get another dr for her any time soon.

I will almost 100% sure call them if they'll take me if the test result for the exotic disease comes back negative tomorrow. I will FREAK. I am such a go go go kinda girl, a million things to do and not enough time... now I have all the time in the world and can't do nothin'! I really should be resting, but I swear, I don't know the meaning of the word!

No prob! Just hope you get answers soon! Have they checked your thyroid? That ended up being an issue for my mom and just last month sister for similar type problems and for some reason it took the docs forever to figure that out. They were both super tired and had gained a little weight. My mom also said she had noticed her hair being weird which afterwards they said was a symptom. I'm sure the docs are looking into everything though. Good luck again!!!

Yeah, the first set of tests ruled out Anemia, my Thyroid, Hypoglycemia, Vit-D deficiancy, Liver or Kidney problems. So second set of tests are for an infection. I hope this is it. I have no idea what else they could possibly test for at this point?

SCM-- On your other two, look on the back in front of the tail feathers. If you see a lot of red starting that will be the saddle feathers. Check out the last pic and you see them starting.

First vfem I hope you get some answers soon so you can be on the road to mend. Hi to all the new people you will love this place. I have not been on for a while life has kept me busy. I wanted to let you guys know that the Tractor Suppy in FUQUAY-VARINA 1348 N MAIN ST FUQUAY-VARINA NC 27526 (919) 567-7580 is having a barnyard swap this coming Saturday from 9 until 1:30 in their parking lot. It is their first one and they are going to see how it goes if they have anymore. The bad news is I am out of town this weekend.

So I hope they have another one. Sounds like all of you have been doing good and expanding your little critters. I have not added anymore but Wilma the white top hat got her first watt-knot trim last night. She know looks like she has a mullet cut. I think she just realized she is not the only chicken. I love that girl she is crazy crazy. Makes me laugh all the time. Well back to work for me. If anybody goes to the swap post how it was. Also I have a friend looking for a Jenny Donkey? If anybody has leads please pass them on. She lives in Clayton and will travel a fair distance to get one. Maybe up to two hours.

May I just say how much I LOATHE my Post Office?!? Never before have I encountered such chaos...GRR. I ordered some things and rather than deliver them to me, they try to hand them over to my neighbor (who understandably refuses to accept them). So they leave - NEVER coming to my house and claim they left a notification ON MY HOUSE...really?!? Nothing in the mailbox, nothing on the doors...nothing period. Call the PO and they say the box is there...drive out to the PO and the box isn't there...it's out being REDELIVERED. Get home, no package, no note. Look online, see they have left a "second" notice. Really?? WHERE?? Call PO and was "assured" that the box would be delivered today. So I went on the PO website to check...it's not scheduled to be here until tomorrow. UGH, like I said...CHAOS!! <sigh> Thanks for letting me vent!!

NHS, they do that crap to me ALL the time! No wonder they are going under and failing. Terrible service is just that... TERRIBLE and not worth paying for.

I called the dr's office this morning and not all my test results have come back, they are waiting on 1 still. The dr won't review the results for any of them, until he has all of them.... so waiting!
