hey I spoke with highlands feed if we bought 40 bags it would be 965 shipped with works out to 24.125 per bag which isnt too bad for organic non gmo feed. I am paying almost that much now for regular feed

Do you just ask the guys right at the construction site or do you get with the town??

I stop and ask the folks right there at the site. They either
tell me who to ask and point them out or they tell me to just
take what I want.....never had a problem with getting it.

Good afternoon! We are all completely drenched here, can't wait for this rain to stop. At least the ducks love it! The duck breeder we bought our first three ducks from (got the drake from someone else) is delivering two new ducks to us today. Can't wait till he gets here! After quarantine, when I let them out with the rest, I hope they'll calm my drake down. He's been harassing two of my bantam hens.

Went to the morganton show, I was in such a rush I didn't even get to go inside. But I did luck up outside with the sellers and found 4 blue and BBS bantam cochin girls

I have lettuce and tomatoes seeding out...

These were seeds just bought at the local nursery (where I usually buy plants). I had homestead tomatoes, lettuce, squash, hybrid tomato and bell pepper seed trays set. The squash, hybrid tomato and bell pepper never seeded (those seeds were really old... didn't think they would but still wanted to try).
Today I went ahead and seeded cauliflower and broccoli. Planning in 2 weeks to seed squash... As soon as this rain stops, I will be direct sowing turnip seeds...

(my ladies love to eat the greens after I cut the root off of them).....

I could deliver its about 3hrs from me... I would sell the coops for around $250 if anyone is interested! If weather permits I should be able to complete in the next couple of day will post pics of finshed product!

My son needs to build me a coop for his senior project for high school, his written portion will be on small scale sustainable farming, I convinced him to do the build and the project....very convenient for me since I am soon to be a chicken mama. But, when chicken math prevails, and it will, I will contact you to buy one, those are cute coops, and may work as a tractor i think.
