Brought two of my girls out for the first time today! They loved it!

I love the baby stories that come out when one is due! My first one was 23 days past the due date. The docs decided they had miscalculated. I had to point out to them that she really was late. My military husband had only been home four days. I knew when I had gotten pregnant!

Makes me think of when my oldest was due. She had three "due dates" given, February 10th, February 24th and March 10th. She came on her original due date February 10th. The doctors deemed her 3 1/2 weeks early, mostly because of ultrasound due date, and her birth weight was 5.4 lbs.

Of course, my second was only 2 days early, March 23rd, when her due date was the 25th. My third (only boy), was two days late, due on July 5th and decided he wanted to be "lucky" and came on 7/7/07 and my youngest was a week early, coming on March 2nd when she was due on the 9th.

But, like my doctor said, unless you know the exact day you conceived, and take into consideration that pregnancy can go 40+ weeks, due dates are just guesses.

does it have have pasty butt? what did the poop look like?

No pasty butt....it was just a tiny piece of dried poop that I pulled off. Maybe the size of a pin head. Tiny. Its bottom/vent area is clean since I removed that tiny piece.

I have syringe fed it twice now and still no poop. I can see that the crop has formula in it.

It is still just sitting there with eyes closed/squinted. It does move in and out of the heat as it wants. Very strange....I cannot figure this one out.

Sadly 'Failure to Thrive' is very common with Tolbunt. In order to get the color and keep it going most of the stock has been overly inbred to the point that the genetic pool is dry. I would not expect your chick to make it. I am very Sorry.
