Good LATE Morning everyone!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!! We have a lot planned for this weekend but most importantly...it's HATCH DAY!! Mama Broody is NOT giving me ANY clue if there are any hatched under her or not....she does NOT move when we go out to feed her or anything...I've caught her off the nest a few times when we were inside, but nothing up close to see the status of the 12 under her. Today is day 21, so I am excited, but I will day DD1 is MORE excited. She has been asking to see the chicks since before breakfast!! LOL. I'm tempted to lift her up and peak, but then again...I don't want to irritate her...I know what that's like. LOL

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!! I will hopefully be posting photos of 12 (

If Beth was able to give you 12 eggs that turn out to be hens, I gonna have to have her select my eggs from now on

Okay, before I take this guy to swap or auction, does anyone here need a Silver Sussex cockerel? I have no pullets for him, so don't need him. He is not yet breeding age. I can look up hatch date if you want it.

It was nice meeting serveral of you last night at the Wicked Chicken...I hope to make it Sunday and have a few laughs with you all!!!!! TY Beth I am very excited about the eggs!
 
I just found out we have to leave Sunday at 3pm to get back in time for my husband to do a detail he was assigned to on Bragg.

If you win an auction do you get the item right away or do you have to wait until it's over?

How long does the auction go for?

Are there usually a good amount of laying chickens or rarer breeds? (I'm REALLY hoping I can get a lavender orpington...)
 
Well, we went to the baby doc this morning and the GF is 2-3cm dialated and 50% effaced?! LOL I guess that means "on schedule"? But here's the problem: I was going to go to WCA on Sunday but not sure this is a good idea to leave her home alone. Would anybody be willing to take some birds for me for say like a 10 or 20% comission? (I'm sure my spelling is off today) If not that's fine too,LOL HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!
